Ward 10 at University Hospital Ayr is facing closure which would result in the loss of over 70 hospital beds.
When Scotland's NHS is already in crisis, this is a disgrace.
While he was Health Secretary, Humza Yousaf promised to maintain services at Ayrshire hospitals but he was too busy trying to get a promotion to support our NHS.
Now he is First Minister, Humza Yousaf must intervene and reverse these planned cuts.
People across Ayrshire deserve to know there will be a hospital bed available if they need it.
I will continue to do all I can to save Ward 10 and ensure University Hospital Ayr does not lose any hospital beds.
